Who we are
Tradehavenglobal sells workshop equipment and runs a calibration programme for Australian repair shops. Our office is at 400 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350. You can reach us on +61 7 4638 2915 or at tradehavenglobal@gmail.com.
We collect personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are a customer living in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation also applies to what we hold, and we treat those standards as a floor rather than a ceiling.
What we collect
Most of what we hold comes from you directly, usually through a quote request, an order or a calibration booking.
- Name, business name and trading address
- Phone number and email address
- Delivery and installation site details
- Purchase history, invoices and payment records
- Serial numbers of equipment you own or have had serviced
- Notes from support calls and site visits
Our website also records basic technical data such as browser type and pages viewed. The Cookie Policy explains what that involves.
How we use it
We use your details to quote, deliver, install and service the equipment you have asked about. That includes booking couriers, scheduling installers and passing the right address to a trade on site.
We also keep records for warranty claims, calibration history and statutory obligations. If you have ordered before, we may contact you about compatible parts or the next calibration due date. You can opt out of that at any time and it will not affect your order.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We pass on only what is needed to freight companies, install contractors, calibration laboratories, and the accounting and payment providers that keep the business running.
Where an overseas supplier handles a warranty claim, your name and the equipment serial number may be sent to them. Those transfers are covered by contract terms that require the same level of protection we apply ourselves.
Storage and retention
Records sit on servers in Australia and with a backup provider in the United States. Access is limited to staff who need it, and every account sits behind two-factor authentication.
Invoices and calibration certificates are held for seven years to meet tax and audit requirements. Enquiry records with no order attached are deleted after twenty-four months. Anything no longer needed goes through a documented deletion process rather than sitting in a folder somewhere.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, request a correction, or ask us to delete records we are not legally required to keep.
- Requests are answered within thirty days
- There is no charge for a first access request
- If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will investigate
- You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner
Email tradehavenglobal@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy Request and we will confirm receipt within two business days.
