What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file a website leaves in your browser so it can remember something between page loads. It is not a programme and it cannot read files on your computer.
Tradehavenglobal uses a small number of them, mostly to keep the site working and to see which equipment pages people find useful. The site is operated from 400 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350.
The cookies we set
These are the ones you will encounter on tradehavenglobal.net.
- A consent cookie that records whether you accepted or declined the banner, so it stops appearing on every visit
- A session cookie that keeps basic navigation state in order while you browse
- An analytics cookie set by our measurement provider, which records pages viewed and approximate region
Nothing here identifies you by name, and we do not tie analytics data back to an invoice or a calibration record.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising cookies, and we do not build behavioural profiles for third-party ad networks. There are no social tracking pixels on this site.
Analytics data is aggregated. We look at which service pages get read and which ones get skipped, then adjust the content accordingly. Nobody at Tradehavenglobal is watching a single visitor move around the site.
Managing your choice
The cookie banner on the homepage lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser and survives a page reload, so you only get asked once unless you clear your storage.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies from its settings menu. Blocking all of them may stop parts of the site from working properly, particularly form submissions.
If you want your consent record removed, email tradehavenglobal@gmail.com and we will clear it. You can reach the office on +61 7 4638 2915 for anything else.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new tool that sets cookies, this page is updated with the tool named and the purpose listed before it goes live. The date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed.
Continuing to browse after an update means the revised policy applies to you.
